Christmas - 2009 has come and gone and while that very special day has great significance for most Americans and Christian people around the world, it also reminds us that 2009 is almost over and a new Season of Racing is about to start!
Some local racers never take a break and travel wherever necessary to satisfy their racing addiction, but most enjoy the break between SNMS Fall Nationals and the first races of the following season. With cancellation of the traditional EPSP/SNMS Winter series in 2010, that break will be a little longer than in past years, but not by much. There are a couple of new pre-season races scheduled for 2010 to fill that void.
As I start to build this new website, which as stated in a previous post, will serve as a front-end or gateway to my DVD and photo sales sites, the question of just what should be included comes to mind. Initially, the following "Categories" have been set up, with additional topics to be added as necessary:
I am asking your help in defining where to go from here.
What would YOU like to see on this site?
There really is no need to make this an open forum, where any visitor has the ability to start new topics of discussion. We already have active racing community forums here, here and here, and I don't want to detract from those. If somewhere down the road, this site should evolve to the point that a dedicated forum makes sense, it can always be added.
That doesn't mean that active discussion of articles posted here is not welcome; just the opposite! I will be posting articles and video clips which I feel might be of interest to High Desert Racing and High Desert Video customers and potential customers and encourage you to leave your comments, suggestions, critiques, etc. I will though, reserve the right to remove posts that in my opinion, do not add to the discussion.
So please take a moment to let me know what you think of this effort and offer your suggestions regarding what sort of content you would like to see. I can't promise to act on your ideas, but I do promise to give serious consideration to anything you have to offer.
High Desert Video Productions (www.HighDesertVideo.com) has gone through several design iterations over the years we've been in business and this is just one more in that process. We won't be making any major changes to the DVD Catalog at this time, but modifications there are on my to-do list.
This is my first serious attempt at using Word Press, so there will be a learning curve, the magnitude of which I have no idea at the moment. Please bare with me as I figure the whole thing out and try to merge this site with the DVD Catalog and Photo Gallery sites. The goal will be to provide a seamless experience for you, the site visitor/customer as well as make it all easy to maintain.
As more changes are made and features added, I will post updates here.
Thanks for all your support over the years and please let us know how we can improve the products and services offered.
