Race Trailer Generator for Sale

Update - I would really like to get this generator out of my garage. I'll let it go for $1,500 to the first one to call with the cash and can come pick it up!  I originally offered this unit at $2,300. and received several calls on it, but it didn't sell. Current price for a new one similar to this (this exact configuration is no longer sold), without fuel tank and other extras is well over $3,000.   (Click read more link below for more info and photos)

For sale is a 6.5 KW Onan Commercial or RV Gas Generator, Model designation NHD. This generator is very similar to the Onan Marquis 7 KW RV generator (designated NHM below) with a couple of differences. -  $1,500.00 (Reduced Price)  Call if interested.

The commercial model (NHD) has a PTO shaft on the generator side for attachment of auxiliary power equipment and is wired for both 120V and 240V AC output. The Marquis (NHM) comes with an enclosed cabinet and this one has a custom built insulated enclosure and substantial mounting frame. Otherwise, they are pretty much the same unit as you can see from the chart below . All photos below are the generator and accessories that are for sale and were taken 11/28/09. This generator and fuel tank were mounted to the frame of a box van when in use, but has been in storage for several years. It was recently checked out and starts and runs perfectly!

Included in the price are two new spark plugs (installed), Installation, Operator and Service Manuals, two separate muffler kits to accommodate a variety of installations, a remote starter switch (not pictured), external skins with hinged door on front to completely enclose generator (removed to take photos but easily replaced) and a custom built fuel tank (approximately 25 gal). This generator was serviced regularly when in use and is in excellent condition with 4300 showing on the hour meter. There is a small leak where the pickup tube exits the fuel tank which should be easy to fix. No 12V battery is included in this sale. I am the original and only owner of this unit and believe all statements made here to be correct.
